A new week and a new journey to learn what this project means and what God has in store for us, as we look to Him for some "muscle"! When someone decides to workout to build their muscle for the first time and they haven't in a while, they are in for a "sweet" surprise. The muscle feels good in the beginning, but when the next day comes all the muscles that you never knew you had are sore!!! And you are probably saying, "What does this have to do with this project?" Well I'm glad you asked...PHI'LA has been working out for quite sometime and we are past the 'soreness' stage. We are now beginning to gain some form of muscle, but are still in need of the "personal trainer" to take us to the next level. All the pieces are in place...we got the protein shakes, we got the supplements, we got the workout gear, the gloves, the shoes and other vitamins. Now we need to add the personal trainer to workout our project in a way that it has never been done and I'm telling you, whoever that personal trainer is...they will see and reap the benefit of a project groom for spiritual and physical success!!! So "muscle" is what this project is missing and for those of you out there that are following us...you are about to see what God can do when he adds "muscle" to something for His will!!! Til next week...What kind of "muscles" do you need?

Another week of waiting with faithful expectation that things are going to happen the way that God intended for them. If you are doing things the way God intended for them to happen then there is nothing or nobody that can stand in your way. 

Being on the edge is a great thing...you feel like the tipping point is coming and the things you hope and dream for are actually about to happen. Then there is the reality of things not happening but the faithful expectation of it being right around the corner. That is the feeling with this film project. Things are right around the corner and if you out there who is reading this don't have any clue what I am talking about then look at the website and see the great impactful project that will change the course of many teenage lives. PHI'LA is about to start revving up and this boat is going to be moving soon and as someone a part of this naturally you want everybody to know about it and this is my way of telling those....who will tell a few people...and those few people will tell a few more people.....and then EVERYBODY KNOWS!!!!

PHI'LA  The Musical is not new and it is not a new story....kids of all ages around the country suffer from gang and youth violence. I just happened to be a mentor and teacher for students who have lost their lives because of this senseless matter. Thus birth this project. This project is not about me or me trying get fame and fortune...this project is about all the teenagers in public, private and charter schools in this country to have a voice to help stop the violence. When I was a teenager and in high school...such a long time ago...all of the Hip Hop artist got together and made a song called "Stop the Violence" and it was actually a great song with a great message. Nowadays that kind of Hip Hop gets no play on the radio and teens really don't like to see themselves in the mirror. Which brings me to my point about this film and what it stands for and all the current issues in it. Where are now is in the middle stages of developing this great project and I really know without a doubt that it will be received by audiences great, far and wide across this nation and the worldwide because of its' universal message of love, tolerance and racial unity. I really hope you follow us and support this great project that will impact your life and the life of those around you....because as long as we have teens walking this earth...we will still have this problem and somebody has to do something...why can't it be me!!!
